If you are committed to providing high-quality skilled nursing care and want to work in a supportive, team-focused environment, we would love to meet you.About the RoleThe LVN plays a critical role in delivering direct nursing care to residents and supervising the day-to-day nursing activities carried out by CNAs. This position requires adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations that govern skilled nursing facilities while ensuring high standards of quality care at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care in accordance with resident care plans and clinical standardsSupervise and guide nursing assistants during the assigned shiftAdmit, transfer, and discharge residents as neededAccurately document nursing notes, physician orders, treatments, and resident statusPrepare and administer medications and treatments per physician ordersRespond promptly to changes in residents’ conditions, notifying supervisors and physiciansEnsure compliance with facility policies, infection control practices, and safety proceduresParticipate in ongoing quality assurance efforts and facility surveysMaintain a professional, supportive, and respectful environment for residents, families, and staffQualificationsCurrent, unencumbered LVN license in the state of CaliforniaCurrent CPR certificationSkilled nursing facility (SNF) experience preferredAbility to lead CNAs, multitask, and make sound clinical decisionsStrong communication, documentation, and assessment skillsKnowledge of PCC (PointClickCare) preferredScheduleNOC Shift – Part-TimeAdditional shifts may be available as neededWhy Westgate Gardens Care Center?We are a resident-centered, team-driven skilled nursing facility committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care.
