Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) in Baltimore, Maryland. This role involves circulating and scrub duties with a focus on orthopedics, neurology, and trauma cases. The position requires strong clinical skills and previous experience in a similar setting. The assignment is for a 13-week period with a schedule primarily consisting of 12-hour evening shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM.

Job Details:

• Location: Baltimore, Maryland
• Schedule: 12-hour evening shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. The schedule includes two 8-hour weekend call shifts every 6 weeks, a 12-hour weekend shift every 6 weeks, and a first-week orientation shift of 5 days during the day.
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS); at least two years of circulating scrub OR experience in operating room settings; proficiency with electronic medical records systems such as EPIC; strong ortho/neuro trauma experience.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have prior operating room experience as specified above, with the ability to respond within 45 minutes for on-call shifts. Previous employment in any capacity for any Johns Hopkins health system facility must be noted in the work history for verification purposes, regardless of how long ago it occurred. If previously employed by such facilities and seeking to apply as a traveler, a minimum of one full year must have elapsed since their last employment.
