Special Education Teacher 36-week Contract *Up to 52/hr

Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Dearborn, MI. The role offers up to $52 per hour, weekly direct deposit, and a focus on cognitive impairment support within a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with cognitive impairments. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborate with general education teachers, staff, and families to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for students. Create a positive, inclusive learning environment that fosters student growth and independence. Qualifications: MI Special Education Certification with Cognitive Impairment Endorsement. Minimum 1 year of experience in special education settings supporting cognitive impairment. Strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills. Background check clearance required.
