CAD Drafter

Job Summary:
Under supervision, prepares design drawings of moderate to difficult complexity based on verbal instructions, sketches, and/or formal documents.

* Prepares floor plans, site plans, equipment and component design drawings and other drawings for construction and remodel projects using computer aided drafting techniques.
* Utilizes latest versions of Revit and AutoCAD software and maintains current knowledge of CAD technology principles and applications.
* Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

* High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
* Certificate of Competency in Drafting preferred.
* AutoCAD, Revit and BIM experience preferred.
* Advanced computer knowledge and skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Basic proficiency using Microsoft tools including MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Working Conditions:
* Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as outside temperatures, dirt, dust, and/or noises.
* Work functions will be performed in an office area located on an active construction site
