Job Description The Naval Nuclear Laboratory at our Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory site located in Niskayuna, New York is seeking a highly motivated Mechanical Engineer. Other areas of opportunity include performing construction inspections, participating in production meetings, developing and reviewing construction cost estimates, performing evaluations, and interfacing with facility sponsors, architect & engineering firms, and contractors. Required Combination of Knowledge and Skill Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field; or Masters degree from an accredited college or university in a related technical, engineering or science field. Preferred Skills

• BS degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
• Prior experience in the construction or consulting engineering field
• Familiarity with Codes (New York State Building Code, ASHRAE, ASME)
