St. Louis Children's Hospital is looking for an experienced Paramedic to experience a rewarding and life-changing career! * Day shift * 7am start time (12-hour shifts) * 6 week shifts cycles * Scheduling Requirements * Two Mondays and Two Fridays * Four weekend shifts ( Saturday and or Sunday) * One on-call shift every 6 weeks (3pm-8pm) * Three 12-hour Holiday shifts per year * $5,000 Sign on Bonus* Overview St. Louis Children's Hospital is dedicated to improving the health and lives of children. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose The Paramedic - Transport is responsible for all aspects of emergency medical services and non-emergency care in the pre-hospital, transport environment. This position works under on-line and off-line medical control, providing all levels of care. Responsibilities Responds to emergency and non-emergency patient care needs; communicates with the emergency department upon arrival.Provides quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care.Documents initial and updated assessments on all patients.
