The Kids Ministry Leader functions primarily as a high-level strategist and team builder providing visionary leadership for the Kids Ministry team that serves children (birth through 5th) and their families at the Blankenbaker campus. As a leader of leaders in a high-capacity environment, this role focuses on scaling ministry impact through leadership support and development.

What You Will Be Doing

• Casting Vision: Clearly articulating the "why" behind the ministry to the staff, volunteers and parents
• Strategic Alignment: Ensuring children's programs align with the church's broader mission
• Empower & Support: Shepherd the ministry staff so they can recruit, train, and guide volunteers
• Leadership Multiplication: help your staff identify and mentor "leader-of-leaders"
• Goal Setting: Developing annual strategies and evaluating program effectiveness through data like attendance and spiritual growth markers.

Our Requirements

• Education: Ministry degree required. (Education, Early Childhood Development, or a related field preferred)
• Experience: 3-5+ years of leadership experience in a large-church setting or high-volume children's environment.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage large teams of staff and volunteers.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with church management software
• Character: A vibrant, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
• Engaged member of Southeast Christian Church, or willing to become one.
• Leads by example fulfilling the staff expectations of groups, inviting, serving, worship and giving.
• Agrees with the *Statement of Faith, submits to the leadership established by the church, and lives out our church Mantras in tangible ways.
