Medical Laboratory Scientist

Description Medical Laboratory Scientist at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center San Pedro, San Pedro, CA. Full‑time, 8‑hour variable shifts. The Clinical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for specimen processing, test performance, result reporting, and clerical and patient care support services. The CLS provides service in one or more sections of the laboratory with a high level of accuracy, precision and timeliness, ensuring compliance with departmental and regulatory agency standards. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Science. California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License upon hire. At least 1 year of experience in a clinical laboratory in the area of responsibility.
