Job Summary

Rose Mountain Care Center, a Skilled Nursing and Long-Term Care facility in New Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. As a key member of our dietary department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by preparing and serving nutritious meals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to residents, including food preparation, plating, and presentation

• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards

• Assist in ordering and receiving food supplies, ensuring inventory is accurate and up-to-date

• Participate in menu planning and food service activities as needed

• Collaborate with dietary staff to ensure adequate supplies and equipment are available

• Maintain accurate records of food preparation, consumption, and waste disposal

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous food service experience desirable

• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
