Minimum Qualifications


• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy from an accredited program.


• AART Certification in Radiation Therapy.


• Valid Radiation Therapy state license, if required.


• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a radiation therapist.


• Experience operating and maintaining radiation therapy equipment and verifying treatment plans.


• Experience positioning patients, ensuring immobilization, monitoring for adverse reactions, and maintaining accurate patient records.

Preferred Qualifications


• Experience working in a hospital-based radiation oncology department.


• Experience collaborating directly within multidisciplinary oncology teams.

• Shift Hours: 0700-1530.
• Shift Days: Days 0700-1530.

Impacting Patient Care


As a Radiation Therapist you will operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, accurately position patients, verify treatment plans and dosages with the oncology team, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and document treatments to maintain accurate patient records. Your role will contribute to safe, timely, and effective cancer care within the hospital setting.
