Communications Intern

The Via team leverages decades of innovation heritage to develop creative intellectual‑property licensing approaches for the market. This internship is for an eager learner ready to roll up their sleeves, learn fast, and contribute meaningfully from day one in the Bay Area. You will work directly with senior leaders, gain exposure to high‑level strategy, and help shape the voice of a company driving innovation on a global scale. Responsibilities Work with the Communications and Marketing team to develop internal and external communications and marketing strategies. Support major Via events throughout the year. Develop social media content and strategies to further boost Via’s visibility online. Support marketing campaigns for specific Via programs. Contribute to earned media efforts and engage with media members. Support the development of presentations and other communications material. Conduct research as needed to support Via’s communications and marketing initiatives and events. Qualifications Demonstrated project‑management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Strong ability to follow direction while identifying opportunities for new ideas and solutions. Strong attention to detail and deadlines. Comfort working with senior executives. Ability to facilitate cross‑functional projects across multiple stakeholders. Ability to work independently with self‑awareness and know when to ask for guidance. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create and deliver compelling presentations. Moderate experience with all MS Office applications. Knowledge and passion for event management as a plus. Familiarity with Canva or other design programs strongly preferred. Interest in and willingness to experiment with new tools and technologies to generate faster and better outcomes for the team and organization. Working toward an undergraduate degree or MBA; recent graduates within six months of graduation are also eligible. Must be available to work full‑time Monday–Friday for six months between September 2026 and December 2026. Start date: September 21, 2026. Hourly range: $33–$43 /hr for the San Francisco/Bay Area base; rates may vary outside of this location based on role, level, and experience.
