Financial Analyst The Opportunity: The right mixture of great ideas and funding can create change. In a complex organization, allocating funding to where it can be most effective can be challenging. That’s why we need you, a financial analyst who can easily navigate the requirements, policies, and regulations that govern funding, to make sure our Army’s resources can make the most impact. As a financial analyst on our team, you’ll create a financial management strategy to help the client’s ammunition acquisition and life‑cycle by leading cost analysis efforts. You’ll work directly with the client to develop an actionable plan to determine the total resource requirements needed to achieve their goals. Using your knowledge of laws, regulations, and policies, you’ll help your client develop well‑formed requirements. Once the funding is in place, you’ll ensure it is used efficiently through consistent tracking and communication with the client team. Responsibilities Develop a financial management strategy for ammunition acquisition and life‑cycle support. Lead cost analysis efforts and produce actionable plans for resource allocation. Provide expertise on laws, regulations, and policies related to Army and DoD funding. Track funding usage consistently and communicate status to client teams. Maintain databases of historical cost, schedule, and technical data. Develop and maintain cost estimating models using a variety of techniques. Design, build, and use simulation techniques to support decision making. Qualifications Experience working as a cost analyst for Army or DoD acquisition programs. Experience with ACEIT and cost‑estimating tools for supporting DoD acquisition programs. Ability to develop and utilize appropriate data and estimating relationships. Strong data collection, modeling, and simulation skills. Secret clearance (or ability to obtain one). Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, or Engineering. Professional Cost Estimator and Analyst (PCEA) Certification (preferred). Nice to Have Knowledge of a wide range of methods and techniques used in cost, economic, and operations research analysis. Experience with quantitative techniques and model development to resolve problems or define alternatives. Strong verbal and written communication skills for negotiating complex issues. Compensation & Benefits Salary is determined by location, education, experience, and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
