Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2500 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Children’s Wisconsin.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: 3-5 years pediatric critical care or NICU experience required. Must be able to function on PICU and Level IV NICU.

Required Credentials: Associate Degree

Unit Details: Uses Servo I and Servo U ventilators, LTVs, Astral and Trilogy, and oscillators. Cares for trach patients and manages invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPAP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, and INO. Responsibilities include respiratory care management, vent management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, and treatments.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend, occasionally every 3rd. Travelers may be scheduled for holidays if necessary. No call. Weekly hours may vary during holidays when the unit is closed and during orientation week.

Floating Requirements: Primarily PICU and NICU, but may need to float to general med/surg acute care units and EDTC.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months
