Quality Control Analyst - Direct Hire ( Carrollton, TX) Shift: Day Shift Rate: 43k-48k DOE /5% Bonus PTO: 14 days RESPONSIBILITIES: " Print and review micro and analytical reports from internal & external laboratories " Enter micro releases in the QC database spreadsheet " Pull retention and finished good samples for further testing, if required " Investigate missing or misplaced samples " Document samples pulled in database and verify correct testing requirements on CofC " Communicate with Shipping and Sales any micro delays or failures " Coordinate the release of Finished Goods with QA and shipping " Communicate daily with Quality personnel for status of finished good micro releases " Create SPC and track and trend analysis reports, graphs, presentations " Collect database information in OTC analysis for Annual Product Review " Assist in investigations for micro failures, complaints, root cause analysis, and other product non-conformances " Create non-conformance reports, destruction memorandums, investigation reports, CAPAs, track completion and generate monthly reports " May participate, gather, and compile data needed for quality control audit purposes " Review and revise quality policies and procedures " Work closely with QA controlling documents between the two departments " Participate in internal, facility, and cGMP audits " Review and evaluate quality records, batch records; applying quality control criteria " Cross-train in QC laboratory " Other duties or responsibilities may be required as needed EDUCATION: " Bachelor`s degree in Food Science or related field preferred. EXPERIENCE: " Minimum three years of laboratory, manufacturing, or processing experience " Demonstrated knowledge and application of statistical process control and quality assurance techniques in a food, chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
