Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time in Perth Amboy, NJ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use communication and computer skills to document activities and assist employees, visitors, and delivery personnel. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon05:00 AM - 01:30 PMTue05:00 AM - 01:30 PMWed05:00 AM - 01:30 PMThur05:00 AM - 01:30 PMFri05:00 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access to the location, verify authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site procedures, and document security-related observations and incidents. Support the orderly movement of employees, visitors, drivers, and deliveries while maintaining professional communication with site personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
