Housekeeper

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at an airport location. This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across guest areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for travelers and staff alike. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and possess a strong background in cleaning and custodial services. Immediate availability is preferred to support our operational needs and deliver exceptional service.
Responsibilities
• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established standards.
• Conduct floor care activities, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a pristine environment.
• Manage janitorial tasks such as waste removal, replenishing supplies, and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
• Assist with industrial cleaning projects when required, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Support housekeeping management by adhering to schedules and completing tasks efficiently to meet operational deadlines.
Experience
• Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with various cleaning techniques, including floor care and industrial cleaning methods.
• Knowledge of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
• Experience with janitorial equipment and cleaning supplies management.
• Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
• Previous housekeeping management experience is a plus but not mandatory.
