Seeking a dedicated professional to support students as a Behavior Coach / Interventionist for a contract position working with school-aged children. This essential role involves providing targeted behavioral interventions in a dynamic educational setting near Surprise, AZ. You will benefit from 8 hours of paid work per day whenever students are in session, ensuring a routine that aligns with the school calendar.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credentials required.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting students with behavioral and emotional disabilities.
  • Proven background in Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) or Positive Behavior Support (PBS) through coursework or training.
  • Previous work with linguistically and culturally diverse student populations highly preferred.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish and English strongly desired to better serve diverse communities.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card (AZ IVP FPCC).

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement effective behavioral intervention plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create supportive environments and address behavioral challenges.
  • Apply evidence-based practices to encourage student success and participation in positive school climates.
  • Provide guidance and professional development on behavioral strategies to school staff.
  • Track student progress, prepare documentation, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
