Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse provides specialized patient care within the intensive care unit, ensuring critical treatment and monitoring for severely ill patients. This role requires delivering high-quality, compassionate nursing services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Document patient status, care activities, and medical procedures accurately and thoroughly.
• Educate patients and their families on care plans and post-discharge instructions.
• Adhere to all safety standards and maintain compliance with hospital and regulatory policies.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with current credentials.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience within ICU or a similar critical care setting.
• Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays, as required.
• Exemplify professionalism and commitment to patient-centered care.
