Data Analyst
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong SQL: complex joins, CTEs, window functions, UNION ALL, plus the ability to troubleshoot and optimize on their own.
- Source-to-target mapping with solid field-level documentation
- Understanding of data grain and how it affects accuracy
- Data warehouse fundamentals: dimensional modeling, fact/dim design, SCDs, layered architecture (staging to conformed to curated)
- Data quality mindset: validation checks, reconciliation queries, monitoring
- Version control and code review experience
- P&C Insurance knowledge and/or experience REQUIRED!
- ETL tools are nice to have!
- Policy admin or claims platforms: Guidewire, Duck Creek, Majesco
