Phlebotomist Floater - 1st Shift

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomy - Phlebotomist Floater to support our client's healthcare team in Enfield CT 06082.
Job Details:
Schedule: First any 8 hour shift between 6 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Location: Enfield CT 06082
Job Type: contract
Contract Length: 3-4 months
Pay rate: $18 -25/hr

Duties:

• Drawing quality blood samples from patients and preparing specimens for laboratory testing.
• Ensuring safety, accuracy, and professionalism in every patient interaction.
• Creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by clearly explaining procedures.
• Following established procedures, confidentiality policies, and process excellence standards.
• Working at doctor's offices, patient service centers, or other locations based on business needs.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections).
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment (Preferred).
• Customer service experience in a retail or service setting (Preferred).
• Keyboarding/data entry experience (Preferred).

Requirements:

• Education: High school Diploma
• License(s): yes
• Certification(s): certification preferred
• Years of experience: 1-3 years
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
