Labeling & Compliance Specialist

Description The Level 1 Labeling and Compliance Technician is responsible for assisting in the production and application of various labels, tags, and warning signs for electrical equipment. This role requires a keen eye for detail, proficiency in handling specialized printing equipment, and a strong commitment to maintaining a steady workflow in alignment with production schedules. Key Responsibilities Cultural Representation Uphold and represent the values and culture of Spike Electric Controls, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment. Encourage team collaboration, open communication, and continuous learning. Label Production Assistance Operate and assist with a range of label-making equipment including laser machines, printers, and plotters, ensuring high-quality output. Participate in the preparation and setup of printing machinery for specific label production tasks. Reviewing Technical Documents Assist in examining electrical schematics and technical drawings to accurately determine the labeling requirements. Collaborate with technical staff to clarify any ambiguities in labeling specifications. Quality Control and Timely Installation Aid in the precise application of labels and tags on equipment, ensuring they are placed correctly and legibly. Proactively contribute to keeping the labeling process in sync with the production timeline to avoid project delays. Maintaining Safety Standards Consistently adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while moving and working within different areas of the shop. Software and Technology Proficiency Support in utilizing Microsoft Office suite and specialized printing software for designing and producing labels. Engage in regular upskilling to stay current with technological advancements in labeling and compliance software. Reporting Structure Directly reports to the Lead Labeling and Compliance Technician or Supervisor. Pay Band Level 1 Labeling and Compliance Technician Requirements Qualifications Basic familiarity with label-making technologies and software. Rapid adaptability to work in high-paced manufacturing environments. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication abilities, both verbal and written.
