A growing civil construction company is seeking an experienced Estimator to develop accurate project estimates for site development, civil construction, and foundation projects.
This onsite opportunity offers $80,000-$130,000 and is ideal for construction professionals with strong estimating experience, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of civil construction costs.
Responsibilities:
- Review construction drawings, plans, and specifications
- Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates
- Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs
- Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing
- Prepare bid packages and support proposal submissions
- Identify project risks and cost-saving opportunities
- Monitor market trends and benchmark project costs
- Maintain accurate estimating documentation and records
Requirements:
- 3+ years of estimating experience
- Civil construction or sitework estimating background
- Experience performing quantity takeoffs
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with estimating software and related tools
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail
Preferred:
- Heavy civil construction experience
- Foundation project experience
- Infrastructure estimating experience
Compensation & Benefits:
