Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our client’s healthcare team in Leesburg, Florida. The LPN will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, ensuring high-quality care and patient comfort in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Perform basic wound care and dressing changes
• Collect specimens (blood, urine, etc.) as needed
• Observe patients and report changes in condition to RN or physician
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR/EHR systems
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment instructions
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and Florida nursing regulations

Requirements:

• Active Florida LPN license (required)
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 1 years of experience (behavioral health preferred)
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
