Job Description

Talent corps is currently seeking HVAC Technicians for a local client in the College Station area .

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Setup: Assemble, install, and connect HVAC units, wiring, and ductwork according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Use diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, pressure gauges) to identify mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
Maintenance & Repair: Clean, adjust, and repair or replace defective parts (compressors, motors, fans, thermostats) to prevent system breakdowns.
Refrigerant Management: Handle, recover, and recharge refrigerants in strict compliance with EPA regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or GED; completion of an HVAC vocational or trade school program is preferred.
Certifications: EPA Section 608 Certification is highly preferred
Must have 4+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service/maint
Must have excellent diagnostic skills and perform repairs
Experience with multiples types of equipment to include hydronic systems, DX units, chillers, and other refrigerants
Proficient in reading schematics, blueprints or other diagrams
Must be able to pass background and drug screen
