Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Per Diem

The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist Per Diem will:

• Maintain the safe operation of designated equipment and instruments.
• Set up equipment prior to procedure and assist in patient preparation, as appropriate to the ages of the patient's growth and development through the life cycle factors.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of procedure utilizing event log on hemodynamic monitoring system.
• Maintain the power injection and accurate monitoring of image acquisitions during procedure.
• Perform as active member of cath lab team in assisting with other duties, including supply and inventory management, patient safety, staff development and educational activities.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved ARRT Radiology technology program or Graduate of an approved and accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent.
• Registered Radiology Technologist, RT (R) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, RCIS. Experienced in invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Requires a working knowledge of the x-ray equipment with the ability to assist the physician.
• Requires a working knowledge of radiation safety and the hemodynamic monitoring systems.
• Possesses the strong knowledge of cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures and the ability to recognize cardiac arrhythmias.
• Maintains and understanding working knowledge of monitoring equipment, information system, emergency equipment, and department's specific equipment.
• Possesses the ability to think and move quickly in order to deliver quality and efficient patient care.
• Possesses the skills and sensitivity to work well as a team member with physicians, patients and co-workers.
• Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in work volume, emergencies, and staffing and schedule changes.
• BLS Certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required.

Salary Range: 49.00 - 49.00 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
