Schedule: Days Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Job Description:

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on power plant electrical systems, switchgear, motors, breakers, transformers, and associated equipment.
  
  
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues involving low, medium, and high-voltage systems to support safe and reliable plant operations.
  
  
• Install, test, calibrate, and maintain electrical equipment, control circuits, MCCs, lighting systems, and plant instrumentation.
  
  
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, technical manuals, and equipment specifications.
  
  
• Support plant outages, turnarounds, and emergency repairs by diagnosing equipment failures and restoring systems efficiently.
  
  
• Perform switching, isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and electrical safety procedures in accordance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and plant safety standards.
  
  
• Conduct inspections and testing of generators, transformers, protective relays, batteries, and UPS systems to ensure compliance and reliability.
  
  
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to identify equipment issues and implement long-term corrective actions.
  
  
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and documentation within the plant maintenance management system (CMMS).
  
  
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment reliability, plant efficiency, safety performance, and operational excellence.
