Completing tasks and ensuring that products and guest experience are consistent with the Chick-fil-A brand, culture and the Operator's vision.

Work with urgency to complete tasks efficiently and achieve operational excellence in all that you do.

Preparing, assembling and serving products to food stations according to Chick-fil-A standards

Communicate clearly with fellow team members and leaders.

Stand for periods of up to 5 hours in length

Basic mathematical and measurement skills

Maintain a sanitary and safe restaurant by mopping, sweeping floors, removing trash, cleaning and equipment care.

Always courteously greet guests even if working in the kitchen.

Unloading delivery trucks supplies and placing in proper storage area

Able to lift up to 45 pounds

Maintaining a well-groomed and clean appearance and always dressing professional

Comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, and inspection standards

Assembling, cleaning, maintaining and operating equipment: pressure fryer, open fryer, grill, temperature gauges

Fulfill other duties as required to assist team members and leadership with necessary tasks.

Requirements:

Opening shifts can begin as early as 4 AM and end no later than 2 pm.

Must be 18 years of age or older

Why we're closed on Sundays

Our founder, Truett Cathy, made the decision to close on Sundays in 1946 when he opened his first restaurant in Hapeville, Georgia. Having worked seven days a week in restaurants open 24 hours, Truett saw the importance of closing on Sundays so that he and his employees could set aside one day to rest and worship if they choose - a practice we uphold today.

Fresh food prep

At Chick-fil-A we take a "cook less, more often" approach. By studying smart, lean manufacturing principles used in other industries, we have created new ways to serve our guests the freshest food possible while reducing food waste.

Corporate purpose

In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, with no added fillers or hormones, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day. Whole lemons are freshly squeezed in our restaurants and combined with pure cane sugar and water (yep, that's all) to make Chick-fil-A Lemonade. It may not be the easy way, but it's the only way we know.
