Job Description & Requirements Specialty: PACU - Post Anesthesia Care Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel TRAVELER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SELF-STUDYING TELEMETRY STRIPS UPON ACCEPTANCE AND A BASIC DYSRHYTHMIA TEST OUT WILL BE GIVEN FIRST WEEK OF ASSIGNMENT. Provides post anesthesia nursing care to the patient in the immediate post anesthesia period (phase I) and transitioning them to phase II level of care, the impatient care setting, or to an intensive care setting for continued care. They provide a safe transition from a totally anesthetized state to one requiring less acute interventions. On Call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time. Call - Approximately 1-2 days per weekday depending on weekend on-call. If on-call during the weekend typically only 1 weekday on-call. Weekend call rotation is typically every 4th or 5th weekend.
