Defense Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Description Job Description Our client is seeking an Associate Attorney - in Defense Litigation to join their team of professionals in their Atlantic City, NJ office. Pay Range: $85k-$125k Responsibilities Assists Attorney in initial case evaluation and development of litigation strategy. Represents casino and hospitality clients in employment-related litigation, administrative proceedings, and internal investigations. Conducts extensive legal research and drafts correspondences, pleadings, discovery and motions. Prepares for and conducts depositions. Prepares for and participates in mediations, arbitrations, and trials. Assists in preparing settlement agreements, motions, and briefs. Performs other related duties, as assigned. Requirements: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school. Admission to New Jersey Bar. 2-4 years’ experience in Defense Litigation; Casino / Hospitality experience, preferred. Excellent organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced practice, required Experience with NetDocs and Time Matters, helpful.
