Program Supervisor

Summary: The Program Supervisor is responsible for the daily operation of one or more community homes, community participation support services, or community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Responsibilities Serve as the direct supervisor of direct support staff and assist in interviewing, hiring, orienting, and training. Participate in the company’s on-call system (Community Homes and Community-Based Program Supervisors only). Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the individuals within the program. Coordinate and ensure the development of schedules, activities, and routines, actively promoting opportunities for individuals to participate in community-integrated activities. Transport and/or coordinate transportation for individuals in personal or company vehicles for meetings, appointments, or community activities. Serve as an active member of the service team in coordination of services and communicate relevant information to families and other professionals as necessary. Oversee and maintain records pertaining to inventory, both for company-owned property and for possessions belonging to individuals. Account for all individual and petty cash funds; maintain an adequate supply of funds for individuals and the home. Adhere to the program budget for food, household, and operating supplies. Have knowledge of and adhere to a professional code of ethics. Perform job responsibilities of direct care staff. Qualifications A high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of working experience in programs for individuals with mental illness/intellectual and developmental disabilities. Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individuals to appointments. Ability to work flexible hours. Compensation Base rate $20.00 per hour, with potential increases based on relevant IDD experience.
