IT Infrastructure Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. This role requires strong coordination with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes while managing risks and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. A solid technical background in IT infrastructure and extensive project management experience are essential. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in IT project management focused on infrastructure projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge of network infrastructure, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud services, and security.
  • Proven ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget.
  • Expertise in infrastructure design, network protocols, cloud infrastructure, and vendor management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
  • Proficiency with project management tools like MS Project and Azure DevOps.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA Network+, Cisco, or AWS.
  • Understanding of SDLC and other deployment life cycles for infrastructure projects.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced environments.
Special Considerations:
  • Must adhere to established IT governance and compliance standards.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and communicate across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • May require coordination across multiple teams and vendors in diverse environments.
Scheduling:
  • Typically full-time with standard business hours; may require flexibility based on project demands.
  • Potential on-call availability or extended hours during critical project phases.
