TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Tacoma, Washington, 98405!

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS BLS Certification NIHSS PALS TNCC Must-Have: Completed at least one previous travel assignment Description: Candidates may not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization within the past year. The unit has a capacity of 33 beds including 2 trauma bays. There are 5 psych/seclusion rooms on the unit. The average number of patients per day is between 125 and 140. The required nurse-to-patient ratio is 3-4:1. Emergency situations include stroke, STEMI, trauma, and acute coronary syndrome. Support staff includes nurse aides and paramedics, with security present 24/7. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Occasional holiday shifts may be necessary. Scrub color for nurses is navy blue. The charting system used is Epic. Shifts operate from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The nurse will provide care under the supervision of a charge nurse available 24/7. In-house respiratory therapy and pharmacy services are available 24/7. The emergency department is equipped to handle vented patients. The nursing team will have a dedicated IV team available 24/7. Cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
