The reporting location for this position is California Natural Resources Agency Building in Sacramento , California. This position will work under the supervision of the Supervisor I.


Join the Office of Grants and Local Services (OGALS) in a rewarding career supporting grant programs that provide funding for parks and recreation projects throughout California.

The successful candidate will provide analytical, fiscal, administrative, and operational support for OGALS. Duties include assisting with grant contract and payment processing, maintaining fiscal and grant tracking records, preparing project data and reports, and supporting officewide administrative activities. The position also supports website updates, accessibility compliance, electronic communications, property and records management, personnel onboarding, and other day-to-day office operations.

The successful candidate will exercise initiative and independent judgment, manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, meet established deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.

This position is designated as telework eligible - office centered.

Candidates should also be proficient with Microsoft Office applications and comfortable learning and working in a variety of electronic systems. Experience with website updates, document accessibility, electronic communications, or similar administrative functions is also desirable.
