Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical services to clients, both in office and community settings, focusing on those suffering from major mental illness and severe emotional disorders.
- Conduct brief, evidence-based screenings and, when necessary, coordinate more comprehensive assessments to accurately identify client needs.
- Develop and implement integrated care plans tailored to each client's unique circumstances, ensuring effective communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring that treatment is aligned with client-centered goals and preferences.
- Participate in crisis intervention efforts, providing immediate support and interventions in emergency situations.
- Monitor client progress by conducting regular assessments and ensuring timely completion of reports and documentation.
- Assist with on-call coverage as required, providing after-hours support for urgent client needs.
- Actively participate in team meetings and committees aimed at enhancing organizational service delivery and quality improvement initiatives.
Patient Population / Client Focus
As an LCSW with San Ysidro Wellness Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, many of whom come from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds. Our clientele often faces significant barriers to accessing mental health services, and your role will involve not only providing therapeutic support but also empowering clients through education, advocacy, and resource connection. Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
- Current LCSW license in the state of Texas.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective reporting and client interaction.
- Demonstrated capacity to handle diverse issues and adapt to the developmental needs of various populations.
Preferred Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical social work setting, with a focus on mental health.
- Prior experience working within community health systems or with underserved populations is highly valued.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
