PRN Surgical Tech

We have an exciting opportunity for a PRN Surgical Technician to join our upscale plastic surgery center. Shifts will primarily be on Thursdays. A Bit About The Position Handles instruments, supplies, assisting in circulating and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure. Monitors conditions in the operating room and constantly assesses the needs of the patient and surgical team. What You Can Expect In The Role Gathers, checks, and opens supplies and equipment needed for the surgical procedure. Sets up the sterile back table and Mayo stand with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for the procedure. Anticipates the needs of the surgeon by passing instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure. Assists with draping the patient and establishing the sterile field. Cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization. Assists other members of the team with terminal cleaning of the room. Assists in prepping the OR for the next patient. What We Are Looking For In a Candidate Plastics in a private office setting preferred. Surgical Technologist Certification preferred. First assist experience preferred. Confident and skilled. Knowledge in sterilization and processing. At least 2 years of Surgical Tech experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
