Salary: $165,000 - 205,000 per year Requirements:
- Were looking for 5+ years of experience with C++ and C programming on native Unix platforms.
- You should have deep knowledge of software and hardware compatibility and solution approaches.
- We seek experience with project management tools such as Team Foundation Server and Quality Center.
- You should have experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and Teradata.
- We seek experience with configuration control tools such as Git, Visual SourceSafe, ClearCase, and SCCS.
- You should have experience with Windows, Solaris, and Linux operating systems, including Oracle 8+ and Red Hat 6–7.
- We seek experience with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
- You should have experience developing software solutions in Java or another modern programming language, as well as developing web applications.
- We value effective leadership and mentoring, strong communication across technical and non-technical teams, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing programs and priorities while collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: A bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or another technical field.
- Preferred: Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps practices, CI/CD methodologies and tooling, Azure DevOps or Team Foundation Server, GitLab, Git, IIS, and Windows Server.
- Preferred: Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu or exposure to AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure.
- Preferred: Experience with cloud technologies, cloud-native application development, or microservices.
- Lead and carry out the design, programming, testing, implementation, and documentation of complex computing applications, software, architecture, and application-system designs in Electrical Engineering Systems.
- Maintain the CADDStation application suite running on Solaris hosted on Linux.
- Monitor and maintain the CADDStation ecosystem hosted on Solaris.
- Analyze end-user processes and define application requirements.
- Develop complex Unix-based solutions for hardware and software upgrades and refactoring.
- Modify or upgrade complex applications to preserve functionality and performance in the electrical domain.
- Identify and recommend improvements.
- Identify and resolve complex programming and application-architecture problems.
- Identify issues and provide solutions to multiple issues as they arise.
