HR Generalist

The Greer Group has a great temp-to-hire opportunity for an HR Generalist in the Canton, NC area. This position is responsible for supporting daily Human Resources operations including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and HR recordkeeping. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: Assisting with recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees Maintaining employee records and HR documentation Supporting benefits administration and employee inquiries Assisting with payroll and timekeeping processes Supporting employee relations and policy administration Ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws Assisting with training, performance management, and HR projects Qualifications: Previous HR experience preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices preferred Education: Preferred: Bachelor's degree (HR, Business, Psychology, or related field) Minimum acceptable combination: Associate's degree + 1–3 years of HR-related experience This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company and transition into a permanent role with long-term career potential.
