This long-term, direct placement role offers licensed journeyman electricians the opportunity to perform electrical work on large utility-scale solar projects. The current opening is for a major solar project in Arkansas, with the potential to travel to additional project sites in other states as part of a robust multi-year pipeline. Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work on large utility-scale solar sites in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards.
• Install, troubleshoot, and maintain commercial and industrial electrical systems and equipment used in solar construction projects.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute work accurately and efficiently.
• Work on outdoor solar construction sites, contributing to the successful build-out and commissioning of solar arrays and related infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other trades and site personnel to ensure coordinated, safe, and timely completion of project tasks.
• Adhere to all site safety protocols, use appropriate personal protective equipment, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Support project schedules by working extended hours, including regular overtime, as required by construction timelines.
• Travel to additional project sites in other states as needed, adapting to varying project requirements and prevailing wage structures.

Essential Skills

• Current license as a journeyman electrician in Arkansas or a reciprocal state, with a valid journeyman (JW) card.
• Demonstrated experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
• Experience in construction environments, particularly on large-scale projects.
• Ability to work safely and effectively on outdoor solar construction sites.
• Capability to read and interpret electrical plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Willingness and physical ability to work extended hours, including Monday through Saturday and regular overtime.
• Strong adherence to electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Solar project experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience working on utility-scale or large infrastructure projects is beneficial.
• Flexibility to travel to project sites in other states as needed.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in electrical installation and troubleshooting.

Work Environment

The role is based on outdoor solar construction sites, working primarily Monday through Saturday with regular overtime that can range from approximately 5 to 20 hours per week, depending on project needs. The environment involves typical construction site conditions, including exposure to weather, uneven terrain, and active heavy equipment. Electricians use standard commercial and industrial electrical tools and equipment and are expected to follow all site safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear while performing their duties.

This is a Permanent position based out of Little Rock, AR.

The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $83200.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
