### Join Our Dynamic ICU Team - Night Shift Opportunities Await!

Job Description:


- Position: Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Shift: 12-hour Nights, 7 PM - 7 AM (weekends as needed)
- Departments:
- Surgical ICU (SICU): 16 beds (Neuro ICU patients included)
- Medical ICU (MICU): 16 beds
- Nurse-Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2

Key Responsibilities:


- Manage a range of critical patient diagnoses, including:
- CABG, CVA, subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracerebral brain hemorrhage
- GI bleeds, DKA, STEMI, septic shock, OD, respiratory failure
- Neuro surgery and open hearts
- Perform titration of drips including:
- Dopamine, Epi, Norepi, Cardene, Nitro, Neo, Vasopressin, Diltiazem, Insulin, Esmolol
- Collaborate in a supportive environment with:
- Charge Nurse and Resource Nurse available on each unit
- 24/7 Respiratory Therapy staff - at least 2 in each ICU
- In-house Hospitalists and Intensivists

Requirements:


- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in ICU nursing
- Certifications:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Skills:
- Must be comfortable reading cardiac strips
- Travel RNs welcome without prior experience in CRRT, ECMO, or balloon pump

Additional Information:


- Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
- Floating Requirements: May float to other ICUs in the Valley to serve as a 1:1 sitter
- Orientation: 1-2 shifts specific to the unit
- No Dress Code: Freedom in your work attire
- Charting System: EPIC
