Job Summary:
A Registered Nurse position is available on a high acuity medical-surgical floor and respiratory care unit within a healthcare provider located in Concord, New Hampshire. This role involves caring for adult patients with complex medical needs and requires candidates to bring their license on the first day. The shift is scheduled for nights, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, and candidates must meet specific experience and certification requirements.

Job Details:

• Location: Concord, New Hampshire
• Shift: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Schedule: 36 hours minimum per week, 12-hour shifts
• Required Qualifications: Active New Hampshire or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license at the time of submission, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and a NURSYS report verifying all active RN licenses. Candidates should have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in medical-surgical nursing or critical care, with fluency in care of med-surg ratios and acuity. Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is preferred but not mandatory.
• Additional Qualifications: Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification is preferred; NHISS (New Hampshire Intravenous Safety System) must be obtained prior to start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with dysrhythmia exams with a preferred score of 80%.
• Float: Float rotation may be required to other facilities within the region, including Laconia and Franklin, NH.
• Responsibilities: Care for adult patients in a high-acuity med-surg/respiratory unit, manage patient ratios typically of 4-5, sometimes 6, and assist in maintaining clinical standards amid fluctuating staffing needs.
• Additional Information: First-time travelers are welcomed. The unit consists of 16 beds, with staffing ratios of 4-5, sometimes 6.
