Job Description:

Seeking an RN with Interventional Radiology or ICU experience to work in radiology pre and post-procedural areas. The role involves pre-op and recovery of patients post conscious sedation and general anesthesia. Neuro IR experience and Level I trauma experience required. The nurse will work in a team-oriented environment where maintaining a sterile field and critical care competencies are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care in 5 Angio rooms, 2 CT scanners, and other radiology areas.
• Perform pre-op and PACU duties handling patients post-sedation and anesthesia.
• Care for outpatient and inpatient populations, including critical care and telemetry patients.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE NEURO IR EXPERIENCE
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
• BSN Required
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Ability to pass SIMs Lab training in Foley catheter insertion & central line dressing changes
