Responsible for the safetyof staff and guests on the mountain, Ski Patrol are alert and dependable professionals focused on safety with the ability to remain calm in crisis when incidents arise. Job Specifications Starting Wage:$23.00/hr - $30.61/hr Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027 Shift Type: Full Timehours available Minimum Age: 18+ or 21+ years of age Housing Availability: Yes Job Responsibilities Provide first aid and lift evacuation support during summer Skyride operations Organize and conduct lift evacuation practices Assist injured/ill guests on the mountain, transport ill/injured guests off the mountain Assist trail maintenance staff when Skyride is not operating Transporting supplies and heavy equipment to areas of need Other duties as assigned Job Requirements 3-5 years of previous patrol experience preferred Must be able to communicate fluently in English Must have excellent guest service skills Must work well in a team environment Must be able to work in inclement weather in a mountain environment Must have valid US driver's license Must be able to drive truck and UTV on approved routes Must have a current OEC medical certification Must have a cleared for Aerial lift evacuation per Vail Resorts guidelines Union Required Statement The terms and conditions for the position are subject to a Collective Bargaining Agreement The expected pay range is$23.00/hr - $30.61/hr.
