Registered Nurse – Medical OncologySchedule12-hour rotating Days/Nights shifts. Weekend work variable based on unit needs.Assignment DetailsPatient census: 36. Floating required to other MedSurg Oncology units. Orientation: 72 hours.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of nursing experience.Current acute care experience within the last 12 months in the specialty applied for.BLS certification required; ONS Chemo certification preferred.Experience with chemotherapy/antineoplastic handling, port access/management, and IV starts preferred.Strong skills in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care for adults and geriatrics with solid tumor cancers.Manage chemotherapy administration and support patients through treatment and end-of-life transitions.Implement infection prevention protocols and fall prevention strategies.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care.Compliance / NotesPre-approved time off is limited to one request. Background checks and compliance are mandatory.
