By ensuring medications are prepared, labeled, packaged, and delivered accurately, this role helps ensure patients receive the right therapy at the right time — safely and compliantly.In this role, you'll contribute to work that:Supports safe, timely delivery of infusion medicationsEnables pharmacists and clinicians to focus on patient careMaintains quality, compliance, and consistency in pharmacy operationsStrengthens a patient?first, clinician?led organizationWhile patients may never see this work directly, they feel its impact every day.What You'll DoIn this role, you will:Perform pharmacy technical and clerical duties under the direct supervision of a licensed PharmacistPrepare, label, package, and stage prescriptions including sterile admixtures, unit?dose, and prepackaged medicationsGenerate and process batches for prescription preparation and shipmentEnter and maintain accurate prescription, inventory, and shipment data in pharmacy systemsGenerate labels, pick lists, and packages in accordance with dispensing ordersCoordinate with intake and billing teams to ensure insurance authorization prior to shipmentCommunicate shipment details with field staff and managers to ensure accurate deliveryReceive, unpack, verify, and document incoming drug and supply deliveriesMonitor outbound shipments to confirm delivery and file documentation accuratelyPerform and document quality assurance activitiesMaintain clean, organized, and compliant pharmacy workspacesManage inventory levels, rotation, and returns in alignment with company goalsParticipate in training, quality meetings, and continuing education to maintain regulatory and clinical knowledgeWhat We're Looking ForYou may be a great fit if you bring:Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracyA customer?service mindset applied to pharmacy operationsComfort working in structured, regulated environmentsReliability, organization, and pride in doing things the right wayA collaborative approach to supporting pharmacists and operations teamsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDCPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) - State Registered/CertifiedMinimum of two (2) years of experience in retail, hospital, or specialty pharmacyBasic computer proficiency, including Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to HIPAA compliance and patient confidentialityPreferred QualificationsGraduation from a pharmacy technician training programNational Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)Experience with CareTend or similar pharmacy softwareYou don't need to check every box; we care just as much about how you show up as your experience.Candidates who do not currently hold the required pharmacy technician credentials may still be considered. LUX Infusion is willing to provide training and developmental support to a qualified candidate who demonstrates the aptitude and commitment to complete the credentialing process. The selected candidate must obtain an approved national pharmacy technician certification and satisfy all New York State licensure and registration requirements within six months of hire, or within another timeframe established in the offer letter. Until the required credentials are obtained, the employee's responsibilities will be limited to duties legally permitted for unlicensed personnel and performed under pharmacist supervision.
