An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced School Psychologist seeking a contract, onsite position spanning the current and upcoming school years. This full-time role offers the chance to make a lasting difference in students’ lives, working 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, in a supportive educational environment. You’ll play a vital role in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, supporting IEP/504 processes, and collaborating closely with educators and families to provide comprehensive psychological services.
Essential Qualifications:
- Current and active Georgia Professional School Psychology Certificate (snapshot required upon application)
- Proven background in school-based psychology with experience in psychoeducational assessments
- Comfort with IEP/504 development, eligibility meetings, and compliance documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with staff and parents
- Full-time schedule flexibility and commitment through May 26, 2027
- Reliable personal transportation for daily onsite responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for K-12 students
- Interpret and report assessment data to inform educational planning
- Support IEP and 504 processes, including participation in eligibility and review meetings
- Offer consultative services to teachers, staff, and families regarding interventions and strategies
- Ensure timely, accurate documentation to meet state and federal requirements
- Participate in crisis response, contribute to school-based problem-solving teams, and promote positive student outcomes
