Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position allows you to make a meaningful impact, working both with general education and special education populations onsite. You’ll foster resilience and well-being by acting as the 504 Plan Coordinator, delivering targeted social-emotional support, and facilitating behavior intervention services.

In this position, you’ll:

• Serve K-12 students, providing both individual and group support
• Coordinate and implement 504 Plans in partnership with staff and families
• Deliver clinical assessments and develop intervention strategies tailored to diverse student needs
• Offer counseling services to enhance students’ social-emotional development
• Work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families to ensure wraparound care for students
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, contributing your expertise to student success planning

We’re looking for candidates with:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work
• Current Michigan state licensure as a School Social Worker
• Experience in K-12 educational environments, supporting a range of student needs
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention abilities
• Skilled communication and collaboration across roles and backgrounds
• A commitment to inclusive, culturally competent practice
• Availability for onsite work throughout the contract duration
