JOB TITLE: Accounting Lead

REPORTS TO: Director of Operations

SCOPE OF POSITION: An Accounting Lead is a part-time contractor role within the Accordus team. This team member fills critical accounting functions for Accordus clients, including both for-profit and non-profit accounting services. This role will be between 10-15 hours per week . This team member must have day-time availability to jump on accounting calls with clients. They should be US-based and work as the liaison between our US-based clients and our international team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Joining 2-4 client calls per week
• Helping manage a team of international accountants
• Initiating and managing financial and accounting software used by the company
• Working with QuickBooks Online (prior experience required)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of financial (accounting, bookkeeping, etc.) experience
• Experience with non-profit accounting preferred
• Bachelors (or equivalent in accounting or related field)
• Experience with QuickBooks Online
• Attention to detail
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to work independently
