Northwest Behavioral Health Clinic is seeking a Behavioral Health AdultTherapist in theWilliston, ND area.

Be part of an interdisciplinary team that provides individuals opportunity for recovery management so they can live and work independently in their home and community.


In a typical week, you will complete assessments and service plans. You will be involved in the organizing, directing, and guiding of care provided by other team members, as well as ongoing monitoring and update of service recommendations. You will provide skills training, as well as individual, family, and group therapy. You will provide crisis intervention and risk assessments in the office, in the community and on call. Also, you will provide education and consult to families, community, interns, and residents.

Location


ND HHS utilizes a blended workplace model. This position provides essential client services face to face and therefore the person in this position needs to be able to travel to meet clients at their location.

Minimum Qualifications


Y ou are required to have a master's degrees in Social Work, Counseling, or areas approved by the North Dakota Board of Counseling Examiners and ND licensure as a LCSW or LPCC.

• Or masters degree in Marriage and Family Therapy AND licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy
• Or a masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology with eligibility for licensure as LMFT by the ND Board of Marriage and Family Therapy.
• Or a Doctorate in Psychology and ND licensure as a psychologist by the ND Board of Psychologist Examiners.

If unable to find fully licensed candidates, will consider filling this position at a reduced rate as a Behavioral Health Counselor, which requires a master's degree in social work and licensure as a LMSW (Licensed Master Social Worker) by the ND Board of Social Work Examiners; or a master's degree in counseling and licensure as a LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor) by the ND Board of Counselor Examiners. Will also consider those with a master's degree in counseling and licensure as a LAPC, if the applicant is far enough along with the process to obtain their LPCC within two years from the date of hire. Information outlining where you are in the licensure process and the number of training hours already obtained must be submitted with the application form.


If unable to find masters-level candidates, will consider at a reduced rate those with licensure as a Licensed Baccalaureate Social Worker (LBSW) by the North Dakota Board of Social Work Examiners (NDCC 43-41); and two years of professional human services work experience as a social worker, human relations counselor, developmental disabilities case manager, mental illness case manager, vocational rehabilitation counselor, activity therapist, addiction counselor, registered nurse, employment counselor, or a similar professional level position in the public or private sector.


This position requires a valid driver's license and successful completion of the assigned defensive driving course during new-hire orientation.
