Strategic Account Manager-Partnerships

Role Overview The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) serves as the primary organizational sales representative to the assigned Strategic Accounts (owner accounts) in their organization and within all lines of business. The SAM maintains the overall relationship of the account and is focused on strategically building and growing Total Safety’s national and multi‑national account contracts to their customers. Total Safety is the world's premier provider of integrated safety and compliance services and the products necessary to support them, including gas detection, respiratory protection, safety training, fire protection, compliance and inspection, industrial hygiene, onsite emergency medical treatment/paramedics, communications systems, engineered systems design, and materials management. Responsibilities Engage clients on business challenges and help them resolve or mitigate health, safety, and environmental (HSE) challenges. Meet and exceed sales revenue goals. Cross‑sell additional products/services. Accurately identify and forecast sales opportunities. Identify legislation, suppliers, industry trends, and contract structure. Understand multi‑site contract negotiations. Qualifications Minimum Three to five (3‑5) years of high‑level, conceptual sales experience (outside sales) with refineries and chemical plants, with knowledge and understanding of culture, roles, language, and processes. Track record and solid understanding of the Oil and Gas industry. Strategic thinker who can maximize sales relationships quickly and has a strong desire to be a business partner to consistently handle multiple large accounts.
