Excellent locum opportunity for an experienced Interventional Radiologist to provide general IR coverage in Bismarck, North Dakota. This role is ideal for physicians comfortable with a broad range of IR procedures and light call responsibilities. Stroke capability is preferred but not requiredPosition Highlights General Interventional Radiology (non-neuro) 8-hour onsite day shifts Evening call + weekend 24-hour call Ongoing coverage through Epic EMR ? Travel & lodging supported per MSA guidelinesSchedule Details • Weekdays: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM• Evening Call: 4:00 PM 8:00 AM• Weekends: 24-hour call• Daily rate covers clinic + night call (Mon Fri)Average CallbackWeekday: 2.5 hoursWeekend: 1.3 hoursClinical Responsibilities • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic vascular IR procedures• Provide body (non-neuro) interventional services• Manage emergency IR cases as needed• Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure timely, high-quality care• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR• Participate in call coverage per scheduleRequired Procedural Experience (General IR) • Angiography (venous & arterial)• Angioplasty & stenting• Thrombolysis & embolization• Central lines, PICCs, ports• IVC filters, TIPS• Biopsies (above/below diaphragm & bone)• Drainage procedures, thoracentesis, paracentesis• Nephrostomy & ureteral stents• Gastrostomy tubes• Y90 / TACE• Cryoablation• Vertebroplasty, joint/epidural injectionsPreferred (Not Required): Neuro stroke thrombectomyCredentialing & Travel Credentialing timeframe: days ?
